Compared to regular copper HDMI cable using a booster or repeater, or a fiber cable solution, it is great cost effective way to wire HDMI long distances. NOTE:
when you choose your Cat5/6 cables, please keep in mind that the CAT6 unshielded solid core will give you the greatest distance. but you may use shielded cores for better result if the environment calls for it due to interference.
